Welcome to our Member Spotlight series, where we proudly showcase the businesses and individuals making a difference in our CityCentral community and beyond. Today we have the pleasure of highlighting Oni Colston, and learning about her businesses Keep it Random Entertainment, and the services offered at Rejuvenate Counseling. Join us as we learn more about why she got involved with these ventures, and what she finds most rewarding about her work!
Keep It Random Entertainment is a creative venture I launched after leaving my nursing career. It celebrates curiosity and the freedom to try new things. One of our proudest creations is WAMOÒ: The Friends Edition, a conversational board and card game designed to spark connection.
Rejuvenate Counseling is where I serve as a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Clinical Intern, supporting individuals, couples, and families as they work through life’s complexities.
After stepping away from nursing, I searched for what aligned with me. A friend used to say I was “so random” because I was always exploring different interests, and I embraced that! Keep It Random was born from that spirit of experimentation. My passion for relationships and the stories behind them eventually led me to MFT, which felt like a perfect fit.
I didn’t start Rejuvenate; it was started by a wonderful LMFT, Tiffany Alfred. She has allowed me to learn from her and serve clients at her practice.
Keep It Random thrives on authenticity and emotional depth. With Keep It Random, I’m not afraid to try, fail, or look a little silly; I see experimentation as essential to growth. That mindset has allowed me to build a genuine community around WAMO, where people feel seen, heard, and connected.
WAMOÒ isn’t just a game; it’s a conversation starter rooted in human connection. As an MFT Clinical Intern, I bring cultural humility, a deeply empathic presence, and a belief that therapy isn’t about fixing people. It’s about walking with them toward where they want to be, toward more fulfilling relationships and a life that feels authentic.
I wish I’d known how isolating entrepreneurship can feel, but that solitude also became a gift. It forced me to dig deep, trust myself, and stay committed even when things felt uncertain. All of that has helped me as I navigate graduate school and work towards licensure.
Honestly, I don’t believe in traditional “balance.” I believe in prioritizing, asking for help, and knowing that not everything can be 100% all the time. Some things will take the backseat, and that’s okay as long as you circle back, especially regarding your loved ones.
For Keep It Random Entertainment, it’s seeing something that started as a simple idea turn into something tangible. For Rejuvenate, walking alongside clients as they grow, heal, and strengthen their relationships is a privilege.
CityCentral gives me peace of mind, knowing my mail is safe, and even more importantly, feeling supported by a genuinely kind and helpful team. That support has made a big difference in my journey.
Definitely Malai Kitchen in Clearfork for a great vibe and food, or Spiral Diner for their nachos and vegan doughnuts from Dreamboat. Both spots are 10/10 every single time!
