#communityovereverything ExecuSane Inc.

We appreciate the opportunities we have to learn more about our members and their involvement in assisting small businesses. Meet Richardson member, Shiree Alexander, and find out how she’s helping the Plano community by providing job opportunities for local residents through her company, Execusane Inc.

Tell us a little about you and your business.

I own ExecuSane Inc offering recruiting and staffing services in various industries primarily focused on helping small -medium sized local businesses. We also offer leadership and career coaching services. Our most recent venture is a job board Paid in Plano in which the focus is on helping businesses in the Plano area hire locally, and helping local residents find jobs.

What led you to the position you’re in now?

Working in recruiting and many other sectors taught me the importance of great leadership and how it affects talent/retention. I enjoy helping others in any way that I can; be it a business or individual. I've always had a gift for coaching/ advising others in their career or life journey. It comes naturally.

What sets your business apart from other businesses?

I'm passionate and have a real interest in what I do. That's why I'm great at it. It's not just about the money, and I don't go after any and every business. I believe in building close relationships and personal connections with my clients.

What is something you wish you’d known when you were just starting your job?

How hard it is to do it all alone! In this day and age, you must have the right systems in place to compete and set yourself apart. Time management is a big one as it will get away from you.

How do you navigate your work-life balance?

I make sure to set aside time for myself and my family. It can't be all work, I'm learning to disconnect when necessary.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Helping people. Putting someone on a new career path to provide for themselves and their family, or helping a business get the right talent on board to assist in their growth.

If you had a friend in town, and you could take them to one of your favorite restaurants or spots in your community, where would you take them?

Legacy West and the nature trail in Plano.
