Help us welcome RTS (Revenue Technology Services) to the CityCentral Addison community! RTS joined CityCentral just 3 weeks ago after making the switch from a traditional office space to a hybrid work model. We had the opportunity to learn about RTS and how President, Raja Kasilingam, has helped spark new areas of growth for the consulting and software company.
Tell us a little about you and your business.
I am the President of RTS known as Revenue Technology Services. We are in the business of providing consulting and software solutions to the airline and cruise ferry industries. I have been in this business for over 35 years.
What lead you to working with RTS?
I joined RTS 12 years back to establish a new practice area – airline cargo software solutions, and to leverage my expertise and experience to grow RTS in new areas.
What sets your business apart from other companies?
We are the only provider to offer multiple solutions covering various marketing and planning areas in the airline and cruise ferry industry. We are very nimble and responsive to our customers and work with them as partners.
What is something you wish you’d known when you were just starting your business?
Wish I had more knowledge / experience on the Legal and Marketing aspects.
How to do you navigate your work-life balance?
Clearly set boundaries and expectations with the people I work with and my family. If it is absolutely critical and urgent my employees know what to do – so I don’t have to constantly check my messages. We make sure our calls and meetings are scheduled in a such a way all our employees can have great work-life balance.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing my employees happy as they learn and deliver to expectations and receive great feedback on our service from our customers
How has being a part of the CityCentral community affected you and your business?
This is a significant shift from our previous working model where all of us were in a single office right next to each other. But with remote working becoming a norm during the pandemic, we feel we can continue to be productive with a combination of remote working and coworking.
