Description: Unconscious biases date back to the fight or flight instinct that all humans have. It’s a process to quickly identify and categorize people. Our mind does it without us thinking about it. It’s automatic when we meet and interact with others. Unconscious bias exists in all of us, simply because we are human. This fast-paced interactive presentation helps participants to understand where unconscious biases originate, how to recognize them, and what to do to change them. Participants will learn how to become self-aware of biases they may not even know they have. But, more importantly, what we can do about them.   Speaker Bio: Beth Jones is a seasoned Employee Engagement Expert with 25 years of experience in progressively more responsible leadership positions. She is currently the CEO of Leading Right. With the focus on driving revenue and profitability results, she teaches leaders how to engage employees and optimize their talent.
